Although there are some aspects to it that we certainly don't envy - like having the paparazzi away at you all day - here are the things we most covet about the life of the stars.

The Free Holidays

Chris Martin and Gywneth Paltrow were lucky enough to win a holiday to the exclusive San Ysidro Ranch resort in California in 2003 - which they used as their honeymoon destination! And we'd love to be a friend of George Clooney - he often offers his holiday home in Italy's Lake Como to his pals.

The Bank Balances

Let's face it, it's hard not to imagine how much easier your life could be with piles of cash stuffed in every nook and cranny, and a bank balance that would buy several small islands. Stars like Paris Hilton can even be paid anything up to $500,000 a weekend just to appear in certain clubs!

Getting approached by designers to wear gorgeous gowns and sparkling gems to red carpet ceremonies - what's not to love?! Stars like Sarah Jessica Parker - good friends with Sex And The City costume designer Patricia Field - and Kate Moss, who often wears creations by her friend Stella McCartney, get to pioneer new fashions and receive free clothes. We can only dream!

The Gifts

From launch parties to fashion shows, there are always top-class brands just dying to get their products into the hands of the celebs. All the nominees who didn't win awards at last year's Oscars were given goody bags worth $75,000, which contained things like private jet rides, Botox vouchers and gold jewellery. Nice!

Speaking of the Oscars, glitzy awards ceremonies are often the pinnacle of the social calendar for many celebs.
