When Sarah Jessica Parker recently took to the red carpet with her fellow Sex and the City ladies, we couldn't help but notice the bling-tastic item she was sporting with her Yves Saint Laurent dress - a clashing chunky necklace. Showing that she's as on-trend as her character Carrie, she demonstrated the perfect way to wear it - as big and bold as you like as long as your outfit is simple.

You don't need to be on the red carpet to wear these necklaces either. They go with pretty much any simple outfit, whether that's a maxi dress and sandals, jeans and a t-shirt or a power suit. In fact the only place you can most certainly not wear it is the beach - unless you're Beyonc`e that is!
