Myleene Klass Launches New Cruise Ship

Myleene Klass became the 'godmother' of amazing new cruise ship Carnival Splendor when she launched it in Dover last month. The classical musician played piano on the ship's top deck before signalling Royal Navy divers who were underwater nearby by starting a rendition of Rod Stewart's 'I Am Sailing'.

Petty Officer Christian Rumming then climbed 60ft up the side of the ship before smashing a bottle of English sparkling wine - instead of French champagne - against its hull.

Carnival Splendor, which has four swimming pools, a huge spa and a 5,500 square foot children's play area, then set off on its maiden cruise to Amsterdam. The dazzling ship will sail around South America and Europe - so get booking, ladies, for a holiday you'll never forget!
